I have noticed that numerous people get hacked, but they don't know who did it. I have made posts about this before, but nobody listens.

Everytime you log on, look at the IP !!

It takes an extra 5 seconds out of your day. You should get in the habit of doing this, because you never know what could happen.

i always do that... sometimes i think i get hacked but its actually my second ip address. its always helpful to have ur hackers ip address. especially if u want to get revenge! and it doesnt even take 5 seconds to look at it. it takes 2-3. theres no rush anyway!

Death Snake - It doesn't really matter where you are or what your missing, you would have already missed that IP pop up, that is exactly the problem. You don't think to look until after your hacked

u should know when u r haked from when u start the game even if u miss your ip address.it hapened to me and i knew right where i was i was in castle and i logged on i was in daynor so i knew i was hacked.

Right, but you can't get the IP of the hacker unless you check before you even know.

i wrote mine down in case so no hackers can get me and i will check everytime i log on now.

Even if you use broadband your address will change from time to time, you have to accord for that too

call me weird but i just got verzion online dsl and i still got dailup, 4 some reason i have like 3 ips addresses 2 4 dialup and 1 4 dsl

Oh yes, I forgot to say. When you get the IP noone on here can get the items back etc. or take legal action.

The only reason Ips are put on here are to check to see if a SeeD hacked you, if it was a SeeD, the character name and IP can be forwarded to JAGeX

Always give the IP to JAGeX (using customer support can do this), using this they might be able to ban the hacker, it has been done before.

Actually Ryl, I can find the person also lol

The main reason was for Jagex and for me. I can investigate to see if the hacker is hakcing Seed's, so I will know if it is related to us or just an occurance. I also want to know if the person is in Seed ( Like Ryl said)
