Res for SMOD!

I've been frequenting /b/ for about three months now.
Trust me. Nobody wants them here, even as much fun as they'd bring us. That's just something I wouldn't want to deal with, even if I -were- a smod.
I appreciate this topic, really. It makes me feel all special and stuff. But I don't know if I'm on par with all the current super moderators. It's probably best to just leave things to them.
But thanks for the topic, one way or the other.

Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see.

Meh, I suggested something along those lines a while back.
I think.
I may have dreamed it.
I don't know.

How about we take away the moderation powers of inactive mods, and add mods that are prepared to give up their powers if the inactive mods ever return?
We honestly don't need the help of those inactive moderators anyway (right now).

I've talked with some about becoming a SMod/GMod during the past six months, including Res, but I usually try to keep this sort of thing low-key.
-----------------------------------------------
Anyway, Goto is right. The active SMod team is somewhat large for the amount of activity we have, and it wouldn't be wise to promote others to the position at this moment because of that. It'll happen though, and it may not be as far off as some expect.
Also, the inactive mods will go on leave when new moderators are needed.
