I thought there was already one of these, but I can't find it, so now I'm posting one. Every forum needs one of these.

If you could pick between all musicians in the world, what people would be in your dream band? Mine would be something like this:

Mikael Åkerfeldt (Opeth) - Harsh vocals
Marco Hietala (Tarot, Nightwish) - Clean vocals
Cliff Burton R.I.P. (Metallica)- Lead bass
John Myung (Dream Theater) - Rhythm bass
Jari Mäenpää (Wintersun) - Guitar and additional vocals
Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater) - Lead keyboards
Mejiu Enho (Ensiferum) - Bakcground keyboards and good looks
Marko Tarvonen (Moonsorrow) - Drums

Now that's what I call a band!

Ravenlord (Woods of Infinity) - Harsh Vocals
Høst (Taake) - Harsh Vocals
Sir Albert Witchfinder (Reverend Bizarre) - Clean Vocals
There will be many epic Ravenlord/Witchfinder tradeoffs
Whoever did the drums on Deathspell Omega's last album (Deathspell Omega) - Drums
Curse you anonymity!
Steve Harris (Iron Maiden) - Bass
Because he's the best
Jimi Hendrix (The Jimi Hendrix Experience) - Lead Guitar
Reverend JR Preston (Tjolgtjar) - Guitar
Takeshi (Boris) - Guitar and additional bass
These guitarists are for psychedelicness

So this band would be the most awesome Psychedelic Blackened Doom metal band ever.

My supergroup would have to switch out duties bluetongue.gif .

Vocals: Freddie Mercury (Queen), Geddy Lee (Rush), Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin)
Guitars: David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), Alex Lifeson (Rush), Brian May (Queen)
Basses: Geddy Lee (Rush), John Entwistle (The Who)
Drums: Neil Peart (Rush), Keith Moon (The Who)
Keyboard/Piano: Keith Emerson (ELP), Freddie Mercury (Queen)

I could have a bass supergroup...

Leads: Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller
Lead/Rhythm: Geddy Lee (Rush), John Entwistle (The Who), John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin), John Deacon (Queen)
Rhythm: James Jamerson, Sting (The Police)

I just saw that movie the other day, and while it is awesome, I reckon Satan in 'rockoff' mode and Satan in his regular tempting mankind and just being evil mode would put out different sorts of music. Satan in normal mode's music would make Beherit seem like the Wiggles.

Nobody would want me in a band- I suck at all instruments, INCLUDING singing (in fact, singing is probably the worst). bluetongue.gif
