Of course it's a good idea.
It's come up plenty of times, and each time it's been stated it is possible. Aside from the fact there'd need to be a bit of organization and people who actually understand the stuff. I'm all for organizing, but I couldn't for the life of me understand how to make it go vroom.

I think we should have a group of admins and a group of mods. And any page that really gets vandalized will be reverted, since that's a feature.
From my experience, forum Wikis are linked to the log in feature. So any real vandalizing will be easy to track.
