Jagex going under?

My cousin showed me this a little earlier at his place so I don't have links. Apparently Jagex is going under. They're about 50k (pounds) in debt and are losing 5k a month.
They're talking about killing F2P, putting ads up, and, if necessary, disallowing the use of firefox because of the popular adblock extension.
This hasn't been posted on their website because they don't want to make an official announcement due to the massive amounts of BAAWWWWWWWWing from all the kids they're going to get.
Hate to break it to you guys, but it looks like Runescape is going to die soon.

What's worse, it's no use looking it up on google. All I found there were seventeen original Jagex members offering to upgrade accounts.
Huh. I guess that's what happens when you flood a game with updates and let your community turn into a septic tank. I'm for the removing F2P.

Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see.

The member community is just as much of a septic tank as the f2p community now unfortunately. Main reason I quit. So I pretty much say good riddance.
Sorry if that's harsh to you all, just the way I feel.

I'd hardly call removing a free to play demo "Dying"...
Ads don't bother me as long as they're not pop-up...
Lack of Firefox doesn't bother me because I use their downloadable client...
... I fail to see the problem other than the apparent loss of revenue.

Jake, there's no way that can possibly account for my rolling the forums.
That was a cruel thing to do, and just plain mean.
I'd say we're more than even now.
