In general, members shouldn't expect that I will change their display names if they still have time remaining before the option is unlocked. It's easy for me to do it, and I often do if asked, but the reason for the timer is to prevent members from using joke names. If you changed to a legitimate name, stuck with it for a while, but for some reason it begins to rub you the wrong way... Just ask me to change it. I'll probably do it, but I may not if the previously chosen name or the requested name seem too spontaneous. So if one changes his/her display name, think carefully about it and expect to keep it for at least half a year.

Ah, this reminds me when I convinced Star to change my name, back when the option was in the store and I couldn't afford it.
