For anyone out there who has read the classic series (i.e. LOTR, Narnia), I have found a new series that is currently being written. The series is called Friends & Enemies by David Field. The first two books are out (Friends & Enemies and Beings in a Dream).

The books are about a teenager who travels back in time 400 years. The stories are sort of a cross between fantasy, sci-fi, and adventure, with some comedy thrown in for good measure. At one point the main character returns to the present time, but brings the girl he met 400 years ago with him....can you say culture shock? I highly recommend it... thumb.gif

Anybody else reading anything interesting?
