We have powderpuff, too. I'll keep my opinions about THAT to myself.
Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see.

You must be from east texas. Am I right?
You mean to say that schools shouldn't buy a new weight room and instead give the teachers a raise? Or dare I speak it? Buy new books?
Sorry to say it, but school is just a glorified babysitting service for us.
My old district proved that pretty well. God they screwed me hard.

Just outside of San Antonio, so South Texas

The money was given to the football team for us to purposely lose, and our teachers aren't getting paid big time, but they're paid more then most of the school districts around us, and we have so many extra books, we have to have a separate storage room to put them all in.
I don't see it as "glorified", I went to daycare for like 10 years, we never got homework, and I was damn proud of that =\

Hold on. So they just spit the water-mucus -anywhere-?
Some people do. They don't even have to be doing anything; they're hanging out and spit on the sidewalk. Not just football players, either. :/
Anyway, I'm not a big sports person. I'm a nerd, you know, and I suspect that effects my opinion.
Regardless, I find it a shame that they're paying teams to throw games, if they are. And I don't see the grandness of playing football and football players, but that's my nerdiness showing through so it's not a valid opinion.
Finally, I won't be watching your team on ESPN 2, Res. Sorry.

Well, it's usually a mutual thing, like both teams agree to lose for each other's homecoming game.
Call it chiche, but having ESPN come to your school could've just given the team a huge boost and morale, and who in their right mind would not play their absolute best with them there. And considering ESPN's there in the first place, it's probably a really good athletic program.

That's pretty intense for just high school football.
How bamboozling...

Get ready for some BS.

ESPN2?
Hah awesome.
Yeah, I watched it, though I said I wasn't going to. It was worse than I imagined. But hey, that's TV for you now a days. =/
Now I have to put up with endless blathering about it tomorrow... What a nuisance.
