I'm still waiting for Photoshop Hero to be released, personally. You've got Filter Power!

Also, I just found out that it costs $100 for GHIII with a guitar... I'll wait till my next check.

Yeah for real. Don't waste your money on GH2 if you can afford 3.
Btw. Rock Band is looking good, but that's another thread in itself.

GH3 is more of a Christmas thing. Right up there with Orange Box and Halo 3.

I can afford it. Right now I can go buy it but then all I'll have is $200 until the 20th. That's not bad, but I'm not comfortable with blowing my check at gamestop the day I get it. Not happening.

Also, portal.
The cake is not a lie.

I'm thinking of just buying Portal on its own through Steam. But at $20, it'd be a better deal to just get the Orange Box.

I don't really like Guitar Hero, but Rock Band definitely looks fun. It's a little pricey, but a group of us might pitch in to get it. The drums are really what has me wanting to play it. Playing a plastic toy guitar or bass doesn't interest me. Besides, I can play real bass and send GH players home crying. But playing drums on hard? That will be a fun challenge!

I play bass. Not well, but I do.
That's why I like GH so much. My hands are nearly incapable of working a real guitar, so I do the next best thing that actually feels like I'm doing something.

Plus, GH is more suitable to parties, as everyone can do it. You get one dude at a place that can play a few songs on his acoustic, and it's cool and everything, but when any guy/girl can sit down and play a guided song, it's much more entertaining.

Mad props to people who actually have the ability to play the guitar.

Oh, I understand that GH is fun to people who don't play guitar or bass. But to those of us who do, it isn't that fun. It's like going from action figures back to baby toys bluetongue.gif . I have no problem with GH players, except for the cocky ones who think that GH skills translate to real guitar/bass playing skills. They're entirely different animals.

Hehe. Yeah. I'll be honest, I have no Guitar skills, but I can hold a fair bit in bass. Weird enough.
Though granted, I'll kick anyones face in at air guitar. Oh yeah.

Guitar and bass are also very different. Bass is the easiest to learn, but the hardest to master. Guitar is hard at first, but it becomes rather easy to play once you get going.
