"I am the bone of my sword.
Steel is my body and fire is my blood.
I have created over thousand blades.
Unaware of loss, Nor aware of gain.
Withstood pain to create many weapons,
Waiting for one's arrival.
I have no regrets, this is the only path.
My whole life was 'Unlimited Blade Works"

Yeah, but aren't -all- games repetitive in some way or another?
Saw it. Played it for a bit. Seemed nice enough, but if what I heard about it being repetitive repetitive repetitive are true, I won't get it when I get a 360.

Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see.

Here's my review:
Yes it's repetitive, but the game play is so good that I can't stop playing it over and over
The graphics are so amazing that I take time just to explore the cities and to just look around, there's amazing detail.
Storyline ends abruptly and leaves me wanting more.
and everyone who thinks this game isn't worth your money because it's repetitive, let e just say that halo 1-3 are all the exact same playing style. You point your gun at the bad guy and pull the trigger till they're dead. That is what I call repetitive, and yet 9/10 will spend several hours a day playing it. I don't get why, but they do.

The hype killed it. I'm sorry, but compared to what I expected...this game sucked. I beat it with my friends and all I can say is "WOW...Ubisoft...you fail. Finish the new Splinter Cell game or get out of my life." The killing fun factor gets very old very fast seeing as how Altiar is very gracious, but at the same time, very cumbersome. Let me give you an example. Altiar is a cunning climber. If you see it, you can pretty much climb it. But there are some spots where holding up on the analog stick won't work. He stops and twitches at awkward points. By the time you're done fidgeting with the analog stick, a guard has hit you with a rock and you come tumbling down.
Another thing, the "mentally disturbed" folk that push you were just aggravating. Not to mention the women who beg for money. Combat was good, until you tried to run away. That was a mess. You literally have to UNLOCK your focus from the guards, turn around, and by that time, they've slashed you in the back. So if you plan on running, do so before you're on your last leg. People on benches make me sick. The story line sucked MAJORLY. And your guy in the real world looks like Adam Sandler. "Cooome to the baack of the booooat!"
Sorry, but for what I expected. This game sucked. Hardly any replay value what so ever unless you like "finding sweet loot." And by sweet loot, I mean stupid little flags that do nothing. Oh, by the way. There are HUNDREDS of them. Happy hunting.
On a lighter side, I liked what Ubisoft did with the crowd control. They did a good job on figuring out how each person responds to the environment. I also liked how you controlled your "profile" with the right trigger. That was also well done. As was the "gentle push" and "tackle" options. Game physics are fun. Targeting sucked and the throwing knives could have been waaay more awesome if said targeting was better.
Assassin's Creed = Fail.
Rent it, do not buy it.
