It's been a long time since I've been into any anime series, but I decided to see what Death Note had to offer. I saw the first few ones with the English dub, but they haven't released any past 3 that I could find. I found this site that has all the episodes with subtitles. It helps my Japanese a bit and I'm catching a lot of what they say.

As for the show, I am really enjoying it. I'm as far as episode 14, and it is getting really interesting. I don't want to rush it like I did with Evangelion (took me a week to see them all, haven't touched it since... sad.gif). Anyway, check it out. I hope you enjoy them.

ooo... thanks. I've been hearing a LOT of good things about Death Note. Never really got around to checking it out, but I probably will later.

You should, it's a good series and well worth watching. It loses a bit of momentum towards the middle, but I quite liked the ending.

They're actually screening subbed versions of the live-action movies over here, as part of an asian films festival. I really should re-check when that was on, I should probably go along to that.

Haven't been to that site you linked to, so I don't know which would have better speeds, but...

I downloaded subbed episodes off http://www.deathfan.com . Looks like it's expanded quite a bit since DN finished, but they do still have the episodes available there and the fansubbing was pretty good.

Aye, Death Note was really quite good. If you really liked Death Note, then you will like Code Geass too. (Maybe even more bluetongue.gif)

Saw the first (dubbed) episode, and read the first volume of the manga (as it's the only one our library has). I like it, but haven't gone hunting for more. Busy. :|
