[Darkness]

As you are searching the Aphorites, an old woman's voice speaks from behind you.

"Find what you are looking for... among the dead?" It is the old woman who you presumed dead (it -is- a morgue!). She has stood up, and is obviously talking to you. Her voice is vaguely familiar...

[Neraphym]

Varulla: "Eek!"

Neraphym raises his sword and points the business end at the old woman.

Neraphym: "Who are you?"

[Darkness]

"I am Atrya, and I am your rescuer, as you are mine. Do you recall what happened?"

[Neraphym]

Neraphym: "We were not on this ship when it crash landed, but we can tell that Karlorons are behind this. What are you doing here... a human on an Aphorite starship?"

[Darkness]

"... It seems you do not recall. My ship was picked up floating in space before the Karlorons attacked."

[Neraphym]

Neraphym: "What happened? I'd like to know the full story."

[Darkness]

"... I was not conscious. My injuries were great. And soon after the attack, a lethal dose of sedatives was administered to all of the patients."

[Neraphym]

Neraphym: "Why? And how did you survive?"

[Darkness]

"I do not know what the reason behind it was, and no record was kept of who administered it. And as I said, I am your rescuer, as you are mine."

[Neraphym]

Neraphym: "We are not here to rescue anyone. We desire military secrets and other salvageable materials. After we're done here, we will destroy this ship. If you want to live, leave now. If you have no more information, we have no use for you. Begone."

[Darkness]

"You do not understand. You seem to believe that I am saying you are, in the future, going to rescue me. But you already have."

[Neraphym]

Neraphym: "Yet you say you will or have rescued me? Explain yourself. Varulla, she's not dead!"

Varulla is still staring at her in horror. She pokes Atrya just to make sure.

[Darkness]

Atrya swats Varulla's hand away.

"You do not remember, then. I thought it might happen. You were on this ship when the Karlorons attacked. In fact, you were on the ship when my ship was picked up. I do not know how or why you were there, for you were there before me. But you were sealed in the escape pod bay when the Karlorons attacked by the lockdown protocol, and when we orbited Eartheia, you used an escape pod and landed. You saved me from the lethal dose of sedatives -- by killing the one who administered them before it was given to me. You told me as much. I saved you by activating the lockdown protocol and sealing you in the escape pod bay. If not for the doors sealing, we would both be dead."

[Neraphym]

Neraphym and Varulla look at each other funny.

Neraphym: "I believe you've lost it. We have never been on this ship before."
