An Infested Capital Ship

The Commodore glanced at the people being carried out of the ship before turning back to Neraphym. "Come with me," he said, before leading Neraphym off a short distance in the hangar where they could talk without being overheard. "And might I ask, Admiral, how you arrived on my ship?"

Neraphym: "This ship crash landed on Earthia. I boarded the wreckage to determine what happened, and came across the device in the computer bay. It sent me here, to the time prior to the crash. I still have not figured out what caused the crash it self, but this ship was infested with Karlorons when I came upon it."

"Karlorons...? But surely, how would they have gotten on board? Would the ships sensors not have surely warned us of their approach long before they could have boarded? Preposterous!" The Commodore was clearly quite baffled.

Neraphym: "I do not know how they managed to get on board. I would imagine that this ship would make a perfect decoy. They could be on there and sneak off when the commotion dies down. Or they could be in the radiation cloud you entered."

"The radiation cloud..? You're right!" He then pulled out a portable communications device. "Commander Eldikar! Change course away from the lepton radiation cloud! I repeat, steer clear of the radiation cloud!" he said into the device. A voice came back through it, but it was very staticy. "Comm... ... ready... in... radiat..." It was apparent that the cloud was fouling up their communications. "Commander, what did you say?"
It was then that the ship's power shut down.

You catch up with the Commodore as he gets to the lift. He is talking on the his portable communications device. There is still static, but it has lessened -- perhaps due to your proximity to the bridge, where the transmission is likely coming from. Or perhaps the radiation cloud is just producing less static for the time being. "What? Three unauthorized attempts to log into the engineering terminal? Yes, dispatch a security team immediately."

"Lose contact with them? What do you mean? They die?" The lift opens up onto the bridge.
"Sir, we've just lost contact with that security team!" the Commander says as soon as they arrive at the three chairs at the front of the bridge.
Vurivin looks at Neraphym warily. "It's probably just the static from the radiation."
"No, sir, we're not receiving anything from them. No transmissions at all."
"Admiral, you'll have to get the auxiliary power running. Head down to the medical bay. The auxiliary power station is on that floor," says the Commodore.

The lift arrives on the medical level. There is the two doors to your right and left and the door farther down the corridor. When you arrive, you see an Aphorite pushing a rolling table thing down the hall, from the medical room through the door farther down. When you get closer, you notice that on the table are five syringes, each filled with a strange yellowish green substance.
