I have seen a few ads for it and finally am giving it a shot.

Basically as I understand you can use a XB360 ctrler instead of the keyboard and mouse on WoW

thats kind of cool becouse now I can just lay on my bed and play, but I cant walk w/o they keyboard :/.
Im installing it now and ill post an update. If anyone is already doing this please post a review.

But then you won't be able to talk to people and I'm pretty sure there won't be enough buttons on an Xbox360 controller for all the skills + macros?

Actually, there is a connector for the 360 controller that allows you to plug a keyboard into the base of it.

But it's little. LITTLE. Used for MSN messenger on a 360. Not meant for hardcore playing.

It could work. I play FFXI using a 360 controller and a keyboard. Keyboard for chat and controller for nearly everything else.
As for macros you hit a trigger and select one. (FFXI allows about 200 individual macros that have 6 lines each)

So yes, playing WOW on a controller is entirely possible, and fairly practical if you dont use the 360 keypad.

I think I'll stick with a keyboard and mouse combo for MMOs. Let us know how it goes, though.

I can't get the hang of playing shooters with a controller. I doubt MMOs would be any better. Good luck, Bes.

I cant get the hang of playing shooters with a mouse.

Then again I never got the chance to pay them on a computer.

Same. DooM / CS / UT just doesn't feel right if you're not pulling some sort of trigger.

That's why you put the mouse on the side of a vertical surface so you can sort of imitate the trigger pulling.

Keyboard and mouse represents pretty much the best control scheme for almost anything in first-person. Faster, more accurate and more versatile than a controller setup, if a little less intuitive at first.

Also clearly the only way to play Doom is with a keyboard only. coolgleamA.gif

Doom requires a joystick.
