A man with a hood and leather clothing wanders around Zolandor looking for something. He doesn't seem to be from around here, but he doesn't look particularly threatening.

Ther Lyonsbane has barely started his own adventures when he spots this Inquisitive wanderer. Being unsure of this mans intentions, Ther is unsure weather to approach the wanderer or flee. He semi hides himself in a grove of trees nearby curious of what is happening but fearful of the wanderers potential. He has his Families sword which is imbued with the power of the gods, but even that might not be enough to save him......

The wanderer notices Ther and walks up to him. His arms are relaxed and his expression shows no sign of hostility, but you notice a small sword strapped to the back side of his thick belt.

"Hi there... I was looking for a sailor to take me to Izkaldan. I'll pay, of course."

A nearby villager responds without turning toward the wanderer, "No boats docked here for week. Things are very quiet lately."

[Phalanx]

No Longer Fearful of this man, Ther Stands Tall and Proud, stepping out of the Trees and showing his trueself.
"I hail from Izkaldan, however im no sailor, so im afraid i cannot help you."
Ther Wonders why no boats have docked in the last week. If only he was more travelled and understanded the ways of the ocean and sky like many brave adventurers he has passed.
Still Curious as to what the man is looking for Ther decides better to be upfront about it than decieve people.
"Im Curious, what are you looking for? could i help look for it?"

The wanderer laughs while he replies, "I just need a ship. I seem to have dropped a few coins around here, but no matter. I'm sure the villagers will find them, and they could use a little extra gold to make their days easier."

He looks out to sea with a hand held up as a visor against the oppressive daylight.

"Nope, not a ship anywhere in sight. It's not my day... I need to catch my friend to collect some winnings from a game of King's Quarrel!" He laughs again, looking toward the ground with an odd grin on his face. "He won't stay on the west coast forever. I'll find him when he comes crawling back to the Baarloq's Bounty."


The wind starts to pick up a little bit, and both you and the wanderer seem to hear something unnatural along the currents. It almost sounds like a barely audible voice, raspy and impossible to understand. Then again, it could be your imagination, the weather can be somewhat unusual around here. When the wind subsides, the wanderer comments, "I think it's time for me to go. I don't want to be late getting back to Aderon!" With that, he leaves toward the north.


Deep down, you sense that something bad is about to happen here.

Uncertainty creeps into Ther, should he follow this wanderer or stay put and seek out the distrubance in balance he is feeling. Unsure weather he is being a fool or showing true bavery he settles down to see whats happening around him. He thinks to himself "If i am unable to defeat this evil, i atleast know this man is heading north, and could be easily tracked down" Ther sits and waits.

Dark clouds gather over Zolandor. A heavy sense of dread begins to consume the village.

Ther Looks at the Dark Clouds and wonders weather it was such a good idea to remain here and is tempted to run. He Considers it for a great length of time, before remaining where he is.
"surely this sense of dread ive detected has something to do with the evil i suspect. this could be fun."

Growing cold Ther sets up a camp properly and ligths his fire, he is growing tired but his mind is telling him to stay alert.

Ther decides to chase down the man, he has a ten day head start, but that does not deter him, Ther runs off.
