A tall lighthouse near Forlon. Since the sea tends to be foggy around here, a beacon is important for guiding ships into the port.

Some Aderonian fellows arrive and start digging, singing a lively sea shanty while they work.

A shovel strikes something hard a few meters down, and rings as if it's made of metal.

... The two Aderonian men stop, sharing a glance. They continue digging, but around the metal object, attempting to get to a point where they can raise it from the earth.

The object seems to be a heavy metal chest.

The two men attempt to procure the chest from the hole they have created.

It is indeed a metal chest. It's rusted and looks somewhat plain, but what could be inside? The lock seems rather fragile...

They bash open the lock and, if successful, open the chest.

The chest opens easily, and inside are hundreds of gold coins. They must be worth thousands of Cinii!

At the bottom is a large silver amulet with an emerald in the center. It could be very old, but it's in excellent condition.
