*the engineer scratches his head*

Engineer: "Oh well, it will be quite a while before any ships can take off because of this. Those Corrorian soldiers should be a little quicker next time something like this happens."

*A solder in light-weight armor walks in, looking curiously around. He is holding an impressive rifle.*

Soldier: "Hmmm, nothing else was damaged, whoever came in here must know how the system works to bring down the entire network. Kid, get in here!"

*A solder holding a small gun runs in from outside the docking bay*

Private: "Sorry sir, elevator 12 is going to need repairs."

Soldier: "Forget the elevator, you need to guard this place until the repair crew comes to get the navigation network back online."

*The Private salutes*

Private: "Yes sir!"

*The Soldier walks away*

Race: Dark Elves: Diverging into the path of Darkness at an undetermined date during the Second Age, Dark Elves have become one of the few true evil races in Earthia. They consider Undead to be below them, and scowl at all races and classes not allied with Darkness. While they are not known to hide in the shadows like other Dark races, they are probably one of the most capable of directly harnessing the dark powers of the world to do their bidding.

Me Spells
Sorcerer:

- Dark Grip (0): EC=5; DP=4: Surrounds the target with a dark mist, doing minor damage.

- Choke (0): EC=7; DP=5: The Sorcerer holds out his/her hand and chokes the target, doing minor damage.

- Stun Target (0): EC=7; DP=0; Effect = Stun: Target cannot take any actions or move: Prevents target from taking any actions for 20 seconds. Will not take away the target's next turn in battle.

- Blast of Darkness (150): EC=50; DP=35: A conjured wave of darkness slams the target.

- Dimensional Ripple (200): EC=70; DP= 40; Effect = Stun: Target cannot take any actions or move: Attack spell that also stuns the target for 20 seconds. Will not take away the target's next turn in battle.

- DarkForce (300): EC=120; DP=75: Darkness crushes the target from all directions.

- Levitate (350): EC=200; Effect = Levitate: Prevents damage from ground based attacks as long as the target (anyone) is in the region.

- Suffocate (450): EC=200; DP=50 Each Turn For Following 3 Turns: The air is removed around the target, suffocating him/her. Does minor damage for three turns (along with additional attacks for the following two).

- Ground Shock (600): EC=250; DP=110: Will not affect levitated targets

- Dimensional Wave (800): EC=400; DP=160: The dimension is warped around the target, causing a large amount of damage.

- Evil Cyclone (1200): EC=500; DP=180: A temporary portal to the dark world opens, consuming the target in a cyclone of shadows, ultimately crushing him/her.

- Death's Warning (1200): EC=100; DP=0: Will cause great fear to the target and cause him/her to leave the location and go back into the general region. Will not affect Wizards.

-> Storm of Darkness (1500): EC=750; DP=260: The powers of the ancient sorcerer are summoned, showering the target in flames and consuming him/her in darkness.

- Summon Familiar (2000): EC=500; Effect = Summon a Familiar to travel/ Can do anything except attack or use abilities: Allows you to summon a familiar and send it to other areas. It cannot attack and will come back to you if attacked.

-> Dimensional Crack (2000): EC=1000; DP=400: A local form of Dimensional Storm targeting one character. The target temporarily experiences the effects of being caught between dimensions in this destructive spell.

- Destroy Light (2500): EC=2000; DP=HP of the summoned target (if the summoner is below your post count): Will defeat any summoned being of light which is under the control of someone of a lesser post count.

- Summoning of Destruction (3000): EC=2300; DP=750: The Sorcerer uses the powers of the ancients to conjure a local cataclysm.

- Dark Gate (3200): EC=800; DP=0: Will send a friendly target back to his/her hometown as an evacuation.

*After a while, the repair crew comes and brings the docking bay back to working order. The repair crew salutes and then leaves the structure.*

The Private says, "Ah, seems that my work here is done. I'll be going now, I could really use a can of Mountain Frost™ and a pack of N&N's™ right now..."

*The Private leaves, and the docking bay is left empty with the exception of a maintenance robot*

Under the cover of darkness, Nerzuul finally swoops in. In his spare time, He had been watching this mysterious craft, and now, he wished to investigate.

I wish to investigate this..

"This'll be easier than I thought."

2 Minutes later, Nerzuul had swooped to the side of the craft.

He searched around for an entrace.

*The lights begin to flash and five previously hidden turrets move out from behind their shielding, aimed at Nerzuul. With no knowledge of technology, only one escape exists, through the door from which he entered.*

(the turrets cannot be attacked, but upon firing can mean an instant kill - will send Nerzuul back to Shral Valeron)

The spirit of the Sorcerer still sees a use for Nerzuul and decides to grant him another life. He has been resurrected in Shral Valeron's sanctum, the Ring of Rituals. The shades of this realm have recovered Nerzuul's belongings which now lay beside him in the sanctum.

Nerzuul slowly materializes in a nearby shadow. He concentrates hard to learn the aspects and the spiritual energies that are locked into the object (Channel spirit/past)

"Don't ask me what this tunnel is, you don't want to know...*

*With those creepy words of encouragement you move on. At the end of the tunnel Harkin peers through a small opening into the next room. Then suddenly he bangs the opening and knocks a panel off the wall allowing an exit into the room.*

"Stay in here," says Harkin before leaving the tunnel.

*He pulls out his rifle and jumps into the room. You see flashes of light flying in every direction, followed by an exploding turret within your view from the tunnel. Harkin rolls behind a crate and fires his rifle at a target which is not visible from your location, followed by an explosion. You then notice a flash of light and the crate exploded. You look around and don't see Harkin!

--- Silence ---

You then hear another explosion in a different direction, followed by two flashes of light and yet another bang.*

"Everyone out! Now!" yells Harkin.

*You and your party swiftly crawl out of the tunnel and are relieved to see that Harkin is okay and that you are indeed in the Corrorian starport.*

"Hmm, looks like those turrets fried someone else earlier today. Not our problem though, we need to go."

*The party then looks over toward the ship when Harkin points.*

"Wow, I would have never expected it. This AX-72 transport was owned by a friend of mine who was in the hovercruiser when it was attacked. I was expecting to merely take a fighter, but there is no way I am going to let the Corrorians claim this ship... Here, everybody in."

*Harkin and the group run over toward the fairly large transport vessel. Harkin inputs a password and a ramp descends to allow entrance. Everyone runs inside, and after Harkin closes the entrance they follow him to the cockpit.*

"There's no way they don't know we're here. Everyone hold onto something..."

*Just then a group of Corrorian soldiers enter the docking bay in a hurry. They all open fire on the ship. Harkin presses a series of buttons and the pilot's interface lights up. He pulls up a lever and you hear the engines start to hum and the entire ship start to rattle. The ship then lifts off the ground and turns toward the exit, which is rapidly closing to prevent the escape!*

"Hold on!"

*Harkin flips another lever all the way up and the ship flies out of the starport just before the docking bay door closes.*

Reikin falls to the floor relieved after going through this... havoc. He pulls out his Soul Shotgun and holds it in his arms as if he were a solider... Wait, he realized, I am a soldier. Shrugging, he stands up with the gun held in his right arm.
