There's a bit of problem here...People join just for the arcade. I think Cspace should put a notice saying "Want to chat to gamers? No flash. No instant chat: Check out the forums!

Well it's not really a new thing, as long as we've had the Arcade there's been plenty of people only using that. I don't really see it as being that much of an issue, but I guess something along the lines of what you're saying wouldn't be a bad idea.

Unfortunately, most of our new members join just for the Arcade. It's been like that for quite some time now. At least it shows how good our Arcade is

I suspect that a lot of the people who just join up for the arcade probably wouldn't be interested in the forums otherwise, and would either never have come here or would just be lurking as guests. When I said I didn't think it mattered too much, I meant more that without the Arcade we'd probably have a significantly lower amount of people registering (and similar amounts posting), not that it didn't matter whether new people posted or not.

Anyway, I can't really see something like this doing any harm, and it might help contribute to activity.

I don't think it's that important. I think most of them wouldn't register if it wasn't for the arcade anyway.

Prehaps Cspace could create a forum for the arcade where members can discuss the games and tips on certain games?

We did, but it became inactive because no-one wanted to register and discuss about them.
