The Trabian National Museum contains art, natural history, cultural history, technology, and a variety of other intellectual fields, mostly because there is no other museums to put exhibits.
A sign says: "Excuse our mess, we are currently building our collection. Thank you."
There are currently only three displays.

Leaders of Trabia
A card reads: "There have been three incarnations of Trabia in its history, each with a separate leader."

X Zolon
[Painting Still in Storage]
November 2003-April 2004
X Zolon was the first leader of Trabia, which was formed from smaller, weaker gardens. During this rein, two councils were formed: the High Council and the Lesser Council. Dragonman565, Phieta, Master of Stuff, Spikeout, Trifang, Yeah Man, Crescens, and Gotenksjr3 all held positions in these councils.

Moo™
[Painting Still in Storage]
June 2006-February 2007
Cspace revamped the garden system. Moo™ was instated as leader of Trabia. He was the only ranked leader in Trabia, but votes were held on matters. Trabia slowly declined, like all the gardens, and Cspace removed the garden system.

Ziggywolf5
[Painting Still in Storage]
September 2007-__________
Ziggywolf5, a member of the previous rein, wished to recreate Trabia. He searched for a safe haven for Trabia, and found an area in Darkstorm, the abandoned Glacier Forge. Since then, Trabia has slowly adapted to Darkstorm.

Progression of Defense Robots
A card reads: "The robots, now a relatively common sight, are actually very recent additions to Trabia. There were five models for these robots. They are each depicted here.

Model #1

The metal automaton moves its eye-stalk in a pattern.
[History Plaque is forthcoming]

Model #2

The metal automaton moves its eye-stalk in a pattern.
[History plaque is forthcoming]

Model #3

The metal automation moves its arms around in a pattern.
[History plaque is forthcoming]

Model #4

The metal automation moves one of its arms up and down.
[History plaque is forthcoming]

Model #5

The metal automation moves several of its arms in a pattern. The painting nearby hangs motionless.
[History plaque is forthcoming]

....

A man strode up. He is wearing a heavy hooded cloak that completely obscures his entire body. His hands are covered as well, within dark, leather gloves. The hood of his cloak is up, and the shadows it casts seem to send his whole face into darkness. When he speaks, his voice is... strange... It is deep, but it seems as if a multitude of voices speak at once, all on top of eachother, and the feelings they spawn in those that hear them are truly frightening. Images of death, burning, rape, murder, hate, war... All are created in the minds of those that hear him.

"Are these strange places you speak of meant to be a piece of these lands, known to some... those that you are familiar with... as Darkstorm?"

He scarcely waited a moment before speaking again. "If not, end your blasphemy and leave, lest the wrath of those who hold great power be brought upon you. Go elsewhere, to the edges of the known world. Perhaps there, they will accept you."

He pauses for another small moment. "These lands you mention... This 'museum', for example. I do not believe they are meant to exist here. This world is made of pieces of dimensions from long ago and yet to come, from far and near and nowhere and everywhere, all torn from their homes and patched together in a collaboration of darkness and light and magic and technology. But your words are not meant for here."

OOC: In other words... I'm kinda wondering if your 'Trabia' thing is meant to be a part of Darkstorm, or if you're just leeching off of this Darkstorm forum since it's inactive XD If you're just leeching, then I am angry and wish to banish you from here, and I'd prefer you'd go infest somewhere else... like... the Debate Forum! And you could make that place your Trabia home. But if you're just like... making... Trabia... part... of Darkstorm... Then hey, I can deal with that bluetongue.gif

Snow from all around begins to blow in a sort of vortex, becoming more and more localized. Suddenly it dissipates, and before everyone is Guane Wulfdancer himself: The destroyer of all things flammable. He slowly walks toward the cloaked man, and speaks with his infinite and frequently destructive wisdom...

"This museum could very well be a legitimate piece of the world, given that the people of Trabia do not act in a way that suggests their parallel existence in another realm. This could be entertaining. It would be more entertaining to melt the forge, but I don't want to be turned into a tree again."

This dark man -- if even that was what he was -- turned as the vortex began, folding his arms in patient expectancy. One could almost assume that he knew who was soon to be appearing in the midst of the swirling snows, though if that were not the case, it was readily apparent he knew -someone- was about to arrive. And so it could have been predicted that he did not seem the least bit surprised when the snows slowed and the man who had appeared within them became visible. Or perhaps he was quite astonished indeed, but the simple fact that his face was completely shadowed made that rather hard to tell.

"Ah, Guane. How deep is the river if one cannot see the bottom?" One could then ponder as to the complete vague and randomness of this statement. There seemed no reason for its utterance, and disregarding its sincere logicality it wavered on the cliff of total nonsense. Nevertheless, there seemed to be a purpose behind the words.

Guane raises an eyebrow and maintains an inquisitive expression. He usually enjoys a battle of wits, or at the very least, a bit of philosophical randomness.

"If a forest is burned down and no one is around to see it, does it really happen?"

OOC: If you could see me, I'd be raising my eyebrow at you. You didn't give me much to work with ShiftyEyes_anim.gif

Once more, one might wonder what exactly the expression playing across the hooded man's face might be. One might then continue to wonder if this hooded 'man' even has a face. There are such creatures that can be considered to be made completely of energy, or perhaps of magic, or darkness, or one of hundreds of other forces that can be said to hold sway in the multiverse. Yet such suspicions were rather outlandish among most folk, and so, one would simply wonder what expression the man currently hosted.

"If one immediately knows the candlelight is fire, then was the meal cooked long ago?"

Standing motionless for a moment, holding the same inquisitive expression, Guane ponders another bit of insight...

"How would one compare an infinity of space to half an infinity of space?"

OOC: Dagnamit, Cspace, use more words! If you don't, then I can't bluetongue.gif

The hooded man said more things.

"Way down deep, are we not all very shallow?"

The leader of Trabia walks into the Trabian National Museum with a handful of guards. He looks at these two... people, he assumes. He speaks in a calm voice: "I'm sorry to interrupt your philosophical discussion, gentlemen. According to a curator, one of you was speaking to him about the purpose of Trabia or something. He was apparently too disturbed by the vibes of death, burning, rape, murder, hate, and war you were apparently giving to really understand. The other was apparently thinking about destroying the Forge. Which one of you was which, exactly?
Well, it doesn't matter, I suppose. I'm guessing you want me to explain Trabia's presence here, correct? It is complex and... in all honesty, I'm not entirely sure of it all.
We came here from a far flung land. The land was literally destroyed, most of it vanished and what was left was uninhabitable. I brought the people here to survive off of what was, yes, inactive. We were leeching. However.... something has changed in Trabia while here in Darkstorm. We have never built things like this museum before. We never felt like we needed to walk into buildings, through lands, or anything like that, but it has become a second nature. Trabia has adapted to Darkstorm's... eccentricies far faster than even I expected.
I wonder if Trabia is influencing this area more than the area is influencing Trabia.
I have some questions for you. Why do you even care? And who are you people?"

Guane waits for a moment after the leader of Trabia finishes, standing motionless and looking toward the cloaked man with a confused expression. He suddenly turns around as if everything suddenly makes perfect sense, yet is surprising in some deep manner. The storm warden, who is often mistaken for an elf, has seen people and civilizations appear and vanish many times. Yet with all the arcane wisdom acquired from the Ages, something about Trabia is strangely perplexing. One single question of boundless importance comes to mind.

"Was Trabia the place with the hot dogs? If not, you had better explain your purpose here, because the fate of this Forge may depend on it."

He quickly scans the sky and surrounding terrain to be sure that Eranara is not listening.

The leader of Trabia opens his mouth, but pauses. He looks at the two men and outside at the falling snow. He sighs. The leader finally speaks to the one man who had asked this... very odd question: "Trabia had sausage, but I believe you may be confusing us with another land that was destroyed as well. That area was renowned for its hot dogs. Regardless, the people of Trabia moved to this Glacier Forge to restart, to rebuild our lives and identity. We have since become more and more like the area around us. Darkstorm is, in some way, influenced how we exist. We have also become interested in the surrounding areas around the Glacier Forge. But that is irrelevant. We only wished for a place to live and grow. I'm not sure what else I can tell you. Why does the Forge depend on this? We are not losing another home, are we?... And why does it matter if we had hot dogs in our previous home?"

OOC: Seriously, why did you bring up hot dogs? bluetongue.gif
