::looks at Alpha like he has grown a third heart:: bluetongue.gif I happen to think if you wanted a damage sponge that WoH might actually be good on a tank. bluetongue.gif

It makes sense now, but it would have made no sense at all before the update bluetongue.gif .

There are better elites for tanks that want to absorb damage. Obsidian Flesh is the best skill on a tank, but since you are a W/Mo, you can always use Spellbreaker.

15 energy and a 45 second recharge for a max of 5 seconds under Spellbreaker... Not worth it in my opinion. It's Divine Favour, remember.

Since WoH got buffed so heavily, it'd actually be quite a good self-heal, with moderate points put into Healing Prayers. Warriors can get by without a warrior-based elite without too many problems. I remember quite liking Defy Pain for tanking for a while, little harder to get to though.

I never used it much, but I could see Warrior's Endurance being quite useful in certain Warrior builds, excellent energy management if you're needing a constant supply of the stuff. That's available in any of the desert missions, so not too hard to get at.

Okay. What atribs should I use?

Currently:

Swordsmanship: 12/13
Healing: 7
Tacticts: 8/9

I use strength skills.

Well it's a little hard to know what your attributes should be without knowing what skills you're using, but in most cases if you're using Strength skills you should probably have at least some points in Strength.

I have none left.

Anyway. The strength don't really need it, because one is a +90 hp thingy, and the other run 50% faster for 8 seconds, which isn't bad.

Sprint and Endure Pain, yes. But not only would just a couple of cheap points in Strength help to increase the durations on both of those (and the amount of health on Endure Pain), but Strength also adds armour penetration to all your attacks. It'd need to be tested, but I wouldn't be surprised if you did slightly more damage to targets by lowering your Swordsmanship by 1 and putting those points into Strength.

Ah, poor Xmadole. All you're missing is Mending and you'd have the stereotypical bad newbie W/Mo build. At least you don't have Frenzy, I guess. bluetongue.gif
Not trying to make fun of you too much, but it's a phase that we all go through and it's kind of amusing in retrospect.

It seems to me you're putting a lot of points into Swordmanship and then using it for very little in the way of skills. I don't use swords personally so maybe I'm not the best person to suggest alternatives, but...

Gash: You're already using (presumably) Sever Artery for bleeding, Gash synergizes with it pretty well providing extra damage and deep wound, both of which are always good. That one is pretty much a no-brainer, they taught you to use them together back in pre-searing.

Pure Strike can be another useful one in certain situations. Pretty good damage, and if Sprint isn't active then it'll be unblockable. Useful against warriors/rangers with stances, or if there is a monk nearby using Aegis or other similar skills. Galrath Slash is another fairly high-damage skill, adrenaline based instead of energy but without the unblockable thing.

I've never tried it, but a lot of people swear by Final Thrust in sword builds for finishing targets off, I could see that being particularly good if you were already inflicting Deep Wound using Gash. Losing all your adrenaline is a little bit nasty, so it might be better left for tougher targets or at the end of a fight.

Another possibility since your build as below doesn't have many attack skills, is Berserker Stance. It's a strength-based stance that gives you faster attack speed and more adrenaline per slash. The only downside is that the stance ends prematurely if you use a skill, so the idea is to use it when you're not about to have to heal. Good for powering some of those higher cost adrenaline skills, though.
