Actually no, most people really don't like the rain and cold bluetongue.gif Lots of people like snow, but not rain and clouds and cold and stuff. They're just forced to live in it bluetongue.gif But I loooooove the rain. It's my... *counts* second favorite thing!

Aye, I really love the rain too. But not only the rain, I reeeaaaally love thunderstorms. Not sure why. But I go to bed with the blinds open so I can see lightning xD

But yeah, Storms > Rain > Snow for me. xD

I love rain and cold.
And I never get snow, so I don't know how much I like that. I don't like it to be -that- cold.

Spot on. It never snows here where I am, but while I -love- the snow, I'd get sick of it if I saw it too often. It's just too cold. Not bad for every once in a while though.

Yeah, I agree..Snow wouldn't be that great if you saw it every day (you'd have to shovel it..ehh) bluetongue.gif Still, though, when you get -maybe- once or twice a year, it's awesome biglaugh.gif

I like rain, too, of course..Especially with a tin roof ^_^ But we haven't gotten much of any because of the massive drought in the south. It's actually required now where I live to cut down on water usage/etc. You should see the three large lakes near here - they are quite a few feet down and look creepy, since the nuclear plant here needs the water to cool its equipment also magsick.gif The biggest drought we've ever had icon_sweatdrop.gif

..England does not beat SC, bwuaha..

Well, we do also have the most tornados per year based on the size of a country.. Or did.

Aye, we've had a pretty bad drought down here in Aus. =( Had water restrictions for aaaaages now. It's been so many years, can't even remember when they started =/

Ah well. And Summer just started, and it's been bloody hot. Talking about that, how's the heat under your tin roof? That'd get uncomfortably hot during summer >.<

Hopefully our drought won't last that long magsick.gif

Actually, the tin doesn't have a bad effect on heating or cooling.. That's prolly because everything is really nicely insulated of course and the tin roof is on top of oak bluetongue.gif Plus we live in the lower part of the mountains, so it usually doesn't get above 90 or below freezing too much, so everything is pretty even. 'Tis all worth hearing the rain ^_^ *pitter-patter*

I thought pitter patter is the sound of childrens feet.

I like summer rains as well. Sometimes, if a downpour strikes during a hot day, I'll take off running down the road and get soaked to the bone just to say I did.

Ohhh yes. I have been greatly enjoying our weather the last few days. ^_^ Our power was out for about 23 hours though. <_< I have no idea how you guys in Carmel and the Valley managed to get running again faster than we did..

I was also surprised at how many times we've had power "issues" at work when nothing was going on at home, but Target has a generator so it hasn't actually been a problem, ha ha.
Those who will remember, will speak fondly of the warm morning breeze.
