To steal the idea from the RS players, I have decided to make a little blog of what I'm up to in Guild Wars. Thanks for the inspiration, Goto .

Today I plan on receiving the rest of the items I've bought lately on Guru. I'm amassing a load of hammers, axes, and shields for my up and coming Warrior to use. I've bought a caster's Zodiac Axe and tanking shield for OF tanking. I also bought a Celestial Hammer to use for a solo hammer build, a Chaos Axe, and a Mursaat Hammer for general use. I don't like the concept of tanking very much, but I'll give it a shot . I've avoided melee characters for two years, but my Dervish softened me up.

Thanks to Slavers' Exile and Duncan farming, I've amassed roughly 400k over the last week or two. They nerfed Duncan taxiing yesterday, so Onyx and Hierophant weapon prices will likely go up. I just sold Destroyer Daggers on Sunday for 100k+15 Ectos, so I'm sort of sad. I could've made more if I had waited, but I didn't want to watch the prices to drop even more. With my rebuilt wealth, I plan to buy Primeval Armor for the new Warrior, Norn Armor for my Ranger, and Elite Profane Armor for my Necro. My PvP slot may be used to create a PvE Assassin or Paragon soon as well.

Good idea. None of the destroyer weapons are particularly appealing to me. If I do get one, it'll be the spear for my paragon. Of course, I have a long way to go before I get the necessary gems.

Wow, that's a lot of money. Makes me wish I hadn't been quite so sluggish about buying EotN.

Nice selection of warrior weapons though. I don't really use my Warrior much anymore, but they can still be a pretty cool class. I'd love to see your solo hammer build once it's ready.

Axes and swords are very overused, so I decided that hammer is the way to go for me. I still have a caster axe and shield for tanking purposes, though. Things will be busy for me over the next few days, so I don't know if I'll get much done. I hate leveling from 1 to 20!

Since I lost all vigor to grind to rank 5 Norn, I decided to buy Elite Drakescale Armor for Aaron! I had it dyed gold first, but then I changed it to red, then silver.



I'm starting to get bored of leveling because I always have to do it with heroes and henchies. I wish more live people were available!

I'm starting to run out of things to do .

I managed to painfully level the warrior from 9 to 14 last night. After Istan, I get to run through the Nightfall campaign again! Oh joy!

Right now, it looks as if I'll be doing a few more things until I feel like I'm at a good stopping point in Guild Wars. My free time will be increasingly occupied by other things in the months to come, so I won't have much time to play. I certainly can wait to set new goals and buy new stuff in Guild Wars 2 .

The elite drakescale looks pretty cool, just wish they hadn't made them quite so much like the old sets.

Oh, I know. I would suspect Q4 2008. Elite Drakescale is one of the Tyrian elite armors, so it was pretty unique at the time of its release. It's not very popular, so most haven't seen it before.

Well, it's that time again. I've yet again become bored and burnt-out with Guild Wars . Don't worry, though! I'll be back. It's all part of my "gaming cycle." Here is a selected part of the my gaming timeline:

1. I started playing Guild Wars again. (Early 2006)
2. I got bored with Guild Wars again. (Late 2006)
3. I took a break from gaming. (Early 2007)
4. I decided to play WoW again. (May 2007)
5. I got bored with WoW, and played GW again. (July 2007)
6. I got bored with GW again. (September 2007)

I could go on before that, but my memory starts to get fuzzy . Basically, I'll start a game, get bored with it, play another game that I previously played, get bored with it, go back to the first game, etc. As Xfire would indicate (it's been recording my hours since early 2005), I generally move around between GW, WoW, America's Army, Age of Empires, RuneScape, and breaks. Other random flirts spring up, but they don't usually last. It's not too common that a new game joins the cycle permanently. I'll likely see you all again in a few months .

Bump! I've actually been back for a couple of weeks, but I forgot about this topic .

I just finished the Nightfall campaign on my Dervish, Ishan Antar. I'm planning to get my Warrior to EotN, then I'll start writing her backstory. After that I'm planning on getting the Protector of Tyria and Tyrian Cartographer titles for Aaron (Ranger). I'll probably get Elonian Cartographer and maybe Protector of Elona on Ishan. At the same time, I'll be running my Warrior through the EotN campaign and farming Asura rep so I can get Asuran armor. I'm also going to be creating a new character soon for an RP project my guild is doing.

So, that's my syllabus for the next few weeks or more. I'll post here updating what I've accomplished so far.
