I'll give 50 credits to you, as well as to the one you recruited!

There's no limit! You'll get credits for every recruit who becomes active.

Also, starting now and going for an undetermined amount of time, you can get Credits for events!

If you schedule and host an event that is posted in the Event Board, even if it's spontaneous, you can get 50 Credits. The event just needs to meet these conditions...

• It should be in an online game, instead of in the chat or on the forums. The game can be anything, even if it's not a MMOG.
• It should have a purpose, such as PvP, parties, contests, raids, or whatever else along those lines. It can be simple (such as "Sign on now for PKing"), just as long as there would be a reason for members to come.
• At least one screenshot must be provided.

It can be pretty easy, and hopefully worthwhile for more reasons than just Credits. Just remember to PM me sometime after the event.

... In addition to the others, along the same lines, you can get Credits for doing stuff on the site.

You can get 40 Credits for either of the following:

• Setting up a contest that goes for at least a week.
• Posting eight worthwhile threads in the same day. They must be in public forums, outside the Insanity Board, and outside DarkStorm.

These are pretty easy, and help to keep the forums interesting for everyone. Just remember to PM me after you do either of these.

Inflation is going to be a killer.

Nah, it shouldn't be much of a problem.

• More valuable items are coming.
• Inflation doesn't really have a big effect when money can't circulate between people.
• These bonuses won't be given forever.

Besides, if our members do this stuff, the benefit for our guild and community will far outweigh any negative effect on the shop.

Yes, the fact that people can't transfer credits does stop inflation quite a bit, but with so many people having much more credits, you'll have to rise prices (or have the store bought out). That will leave some of us unable to buy anything due to prices.

The items that are available now aren't intended to be expensive in the long run. In the old shop the range of prices went all the way up to 1500, and I'm using the same scale for items this time. I just haven't yet introduced anything particularly valuable with the new one.

Cspace, you should implement a new policy of ruling with an iron fist. It'd solve so many peoples' laziness issues.
