Hey everyone.
I scored a bestbuy gift card for christmas, but couldn't think of anything to buy until today. Then I remembered guildwars!
So I'm about to go pick it up (just the plain version, no expansions), and I figure I'll have it installed and patched pretty quick.
So I figured I'd toss it out there. I'd love to get involved with my SeeDlings in another game!

I'll send a guild invite when I get home, if nobody has already. Feel free to ask if you have any questions, it's not too hard to get used to but there can still be a few things that trip new players up.
Oh, by the way. The part of Ascalon you're in now is usually referred to as 'pre-searing', it's a beginners area that you won't be able to come back to later. Don't rush through too much, since the difficulty jumps up a fair bit after that. It's pretty obvious when you're going to leave the area, one of the quests has this red text saying you won't be able to come back for a while. Level 6-7 is probably about right, and make sure you do any quests that give skills as rewards.

You spoiled it! I love to see unsuspecting newbies watch Ascalon burn!

Well I had tried GW before using a friend's account, so I knew about the searing already.
