Let's debate about debates! Do debates need to be serious? Most of the discussions we have here are about fairly serious issues, but some (Cspace) have started some very random and laughable debates in the past. Is that acceptable, or does it take away from the importance of debates? There's your prompt, go at it.

I say we should do both. What we really need are lighter, but not silly, debates.
