Okay guys, running around the internet, I find a lot of things. Also, being the survivalist for Z day, I look a lot of these things up, too.

That's where Killing Floor comes up. It's a complete and total reskin/mod/game in itself of UT2004. Now I know... I know... I never was one much for PC shooters, but I was pretty decent in UT2004. This is a horror survival game, pitting co-op teams of players against a zombie horde set in London.

Ah you know what, just check it out yourself. Killing Floor

So... Does anyone else out there have UT2004 and want to see how well we'd stand against a zombie outbreak?

*downloads UT2004*

I dunno how well my onboard graphics will handle it though.

Hmm... If I get a bit of free time at some point, might fish out my copy of the game and give it a shot...

I was a bit annoyed that I bought UT3 and then couldn't get it to run on my machine, specs are high enough that it should do fine. Should probably look into whether there's been any patching that might fix it.

WRRYYY. Now I have a problem. I used to be able to run UT2004 just fine with my old graphics card, but now that I've upgraded and have all the drivers for it (As best I know), it still says that it's unable to run.

I have to fiddle with it this evening to try and find a more updated driver than the modded drivers I'm using.

If we can all get this working, it'll put Vent to good use.

Modded drivers might be your problem.

Try getting the most up to date omega drivers you can, failing that get the manufacturers drivers.

I'd join in if I had a copy of UT2004.

So after spending 3 hours of what SHOULD HAVE been my day of complete rest, I finally finished reinstalling my drivers. Installing KF now. I'll tell you guys about it when I'm done.

I played through a test map by myself. It's definitely a good game. You just have to configure it right. Plus, it's not a game that you should play solo. Totally needs to be a team game, and totally needs to be a game we use Vent with. Way too hard to do it any other way, I'd imagine.

I just got it working. Sweet game, but you definitely need a team.

So, is it good enough that you all will continue to play it? If so, I'll join you yes.gif .
