I was thinking we could start having a build of the week here to help inspire DoA'ers to post builds they use/made, and at one point of the week we can make a poll and vote on the best one. Best as in, most effective and creative. I don't think it should matter if you actually come up with it yourself or not, because it's not like there's patents on these things. Plus, if someone posts one that is good but widely known, it probably won't get voted for.

It's always fun to try out new builds, and critique others' to improve them. You know you've really accomplished something when ArenaNet has to make an update because your build was too good.

Anyways, are others up for this?

I haven't had time or character slots to make new build testers, but I do have some builds floating around, and I feel the itch to make a new build everytime I get on. I'm all for it. Maybe it's time to start showing off some of the weird Mesmer builds I've made. Even have one for Tanny, a Me/P

Yeah, they don't have to be newly created, they can be builds you've used in the past or have been using for some time, too.

Well, I have been considering a Mantra of Recall Me/P. I guess I will have to try that, then. It's basically a way for Mesmer to play protection and support with being able to remain behind the lines and possible interrupt as well. Havent fleshed anything out, of course, but I guess I will in the next few days.

Started tinkering with the idea. I know it would be more practical for a Paragon Primary to do this sort of thing, but its more as a backup if a mesmer is stuck in some kind of support role. So far I can cast 7 different support moves, including "The Power is Yours" which is 25 all by itself, and never run out of energy. It also gives most of the team +40 armor versus slashing damage, +6 HP regen, a spike energy regen for 8 energy, and speed boosts. As well as The Power is Yours +4 energy regen.

Sorry, not the Power is Yours, I mean Song of Power. Non elite, but better effect, in my opinion. Only issue is it is expensive, normally.

Okay, so I can pretty much spam those skills. I will post the rough draft soon, so it can be tweaked by all.

Also, been testing a Me/R. Had an interesting idea yesterday I want to work out and see if it will take me anywhere. Though if it doesn't, I'll just post my Fevered Dreams Ranger. It's not about killing with conditions, but oh man will it piss your opponents off. Can anyone say Deep Wound, Cracked Armor, Cripple, and Bleeding for a start?

I haven't had much time for GW or the forums recently, but I like this idea. I'll try to come up with a few possible build ideas at some point.
