God: Oh what the heck.. He's not going to post... I'll just make him an NPC for now.
The wizard smiles at you. "Good thinking!" The wizard mumbles a few words and waves his hands around in unusual motions. Then he shouts, "Analin!" and slams his staff down on the floor. The boy is instantly lifted up about eight feet into the air. His blank, featureless face disappears, revealing a scared, young boy's face. "Aaaahhh! Put me down! Please put me down!" He screams and kicks, genuinely terrified. The old wizard shouts up at him, "Do not worry! We are here to save you!" And levitates him right into his hands. He hands the boy to you. "I must go!" he shouts. "May good prevail!" You are left alone with the man. He is quite angry, his face a mask of fury. He flips a switch, the the protective goo which had enveloped you and him dissapears. You know now that you must fight.

Suddenly a young girl in white robes sees Talakar in distress from his fallen arm.
"I see that you need help, my comrad."
She puts her hands on his missing arm socket, and suddenly heals Talakar's arm.
"There you go. Seems like you may need some help... Let me take the boy."

The man gives a battle cry. "In the name of the god Neraguul, hand back the boy! He is to be raised as a dark power, an unstoppable force when he is mature. Feel the wrath of the dark power!" The man then continues to produce a large straight staff from behind his back. It is just like a normal staff, except it is perfectly straight, and jet black. The man booms, "Adavai lemiarro frantucci!", and a great beam of black light shoots from the staff, headed straight for your heart!

The knives thrown by Talakar are right on target, with deadly aim, heading straight for the man's vital organs. Unfortuanately, he blasts with his staff once more, and your throwing knives are reduced to rubble. The man advances on you, knowing that you are vulnerable... He pulls out a dagger...

All of a sudden, the man whips his head around, noticing the young girl carrying the child out of the building! Leaving his former target, he advances carefully upon the young healer, dagger poised and ready...

Talakar barely makes it, but a small ray of the spell gets to him. It causes excrutiating pain, and leaves a scar on his left shoulder. It will remain there for the rest of his life. Talakar waits fearfully for the young healer, hoping she is okay... As she walks out, he breathes a sigh of relief. "Thanks for the saving my life thing." He says, obviously embarresed. "No problem." Replies the healer with a wave of her hand. "I want my mommy." Says the boy from under Hanako's robes.
