Anyway, we need some less serious topics here.
What do you consider the worst specific-game (i.e. Maplestory, Darkthrone, RS, WoW, CS, etc) community that you have encountered? What makes it bad, so those of us who haven't been there know without needing to look?

I honestly think RuneScape is the worst. And not only in F2P. I guess it's just always been a favorite pastime of middle-schoolers, and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

In retrospect, WoW. Late teen/20somethings all wasting their lives. 'nuff said.
RS would be second. I mean, they're annoying, but the WoW community is just straight up sad.

I know a few choice wow vids that trump anything that i've seen in rs. I think Halo/XBox live takes the cake though.

Xbox live isn't too bad. Most people keep to themselves unless you talk specifically to them, then again, after almost a 4 year long membership the little kids don't bug me anymore.
And if you want to embarrass them always have at least 2 friends with you to back you up.
Maplestory had too many little kids. Highly spoiled little kids who believed you owed them something.
Runescape... I had trouble meeting people I could tolerate. I have never had that problem with ANY game EVER.
WoW, It's... hard to explain. You CAN meet some really cool people there, but you have to go to a forum to find those, you won't find them spamming stormwind with their retardation.
But the WoW forums... as in the official ones.
Holy jesus. Cancer... all of it.
Almost as bad as the bungie.net forums.
Guild Wars. I haven't played it much lately. I need to though.
Gaiaonline is allegedly a game. nuff said.

I'd have to agree that they all pretty much suck the same. Apart from EQII and LotRO. They do have their ejits, but considerably less so than others. Also CoH, their forums arn't that bad.
Tell you what really made my day in City of Villains.. Someone playing as Hank Scorpio in our party. Best three hours of CoV in my life. "Stop him, he's supposed to die!"

This really depends on many factors such as what server your on and what guild your in. Personally I got treated very well and had all the help I needed in my WoW guild.

XBL Underground category of gamers. After every game, there's no such thing as congratulations. Hell, that alone is rare in itself on family settings. I've added more avoided players from the Underground section than anywhere else online, though.
Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.

No, it doesn't depend on what server you're on and what guild you're in, the community is everyone who plays. I made lots of awesome friends in WoW, but the community as a whole still sucks.
