Looking back on all the previous capsules... there's no doubt I've grown up. *tear*

Ok guys, enough laughing, it's true. Well, I think so anyway. Maybe I've retained a few quirky aspects of my nature... well... probably most of it, but I know I've changed a lot. I've changed so much, it's pretty much funny. And don't worry Ari, I haven't broken that promise and I'm pretty sure I won't break it for a long time. I ain't like I was back in the day. bluetongue.gif

So... where do I begin?

I regret not immersing myself in the forums a lot more. Well, at all. The last topic I created was the last year's time capsule... that's saying something! I don't really read the forums anymore (sorry guys!) and I blame it on me being lazy. Also, I know I'd get distracted too easily. But I still hang out in Last One To Post Wins which is a relief. Posting in it has had the usual ups and downs yet it still remains strong, only having no activity when the forums are down. Seriously, I'm amazed it's been alive for so long.

Online, I haven't been playing as much due to so many outside activities having an enormous impact on my life. I rarely go on Guild Wars now and whenever I can, it's probably only for an hour or so. I'm just way too darn busy now and it drives me insane. I envy the days when I could play computer games afterschool 'til I went to bed... and then all day on weekends with a few breaks for meals. I remember the turbulent rush of trying to eat my dinner fast, promise my parents I'd wash up later, then rush back to my room to get back to the Runescape party held in Falador. I can still remember all the fun gatherings we've had in Guild Wars which lasted for ages, back when everyone played it like there was nothing else to do.

And then I grew up and got flooded with big kid responsibilities.

I honestly miss those days. I'm still the same old me, maybe just a little more older and... well, I dunno how to describe it. But that's just it really. bluetongue.gif

Outside of the online community, life pretty much throws everything it can at me and enjoys to see how I'll react. I'm a prefect at my school this year which is real cool, but I'm being bogged down with too many responsibilities. And they haven't even announced Cultural Captain and it's nearly the end of the first term! That's just freaking mad.

Work's been pretty decent. I dunno how many times I've come home feeling real happy and excited or come home nearly in tears and telling myself I'll quit the next time something like this happens. But I know there's been too many. I recently dropped my Tuesday shift to lighten up my schedule this winter, otherwise I would have no free time at ALL. My only day of rest (even afterschool) would have been Sunday and everyone knows how I feel about religion, so I probably would have found some reason to work that day.

Schoolwise... I'm currently studying:

- Spanish NCEA Level 3 (possibly Scholarship as well)
- English NCEA Level 3
- History NCEA Level 3
- Music NCEA Level 3 (second half of it) with Scholarship
- Mathematics with Statistics NCEA Level 3

I've also been thinking about career choices now that I'm in my final year of high school, and there's a high chance that I'll be going down to Wellington to study at the New Zealand School of Music. I'm thinking of getting a Bachelor in Music (BMus) alongside a Bachelor in Law (LLB) however they're both polar opposites in majors so I don't know how that'll turn out. If I can't do both, I'll head for a BMus (3 years), then go for a BMus(Hons) which'll be another year and then if I'm successful in that, a MMus (Master of Music) degree. Doctorate is just too much work so I won't bother with that. So in total, it'll take me 5 years minimum to gain a Master of Music. And then after that...

Take a year to gain my Diploma of Teaching and I'll be all set to be a Music teacher. biglaugh.gif

So I'll stop there because it's beginning to sound like my blog now. I'll add other things to this later on. bluetongue.gif

I can really relate to that Tan, especially this year my life is moving it new and bigger directions, and I'm also well on my way of leaving those days, although I do miss them, as well. In my last year of highschool I just have so much on my schedule that I'm always busy every single day, and when I head off to college I'll have so much more to do, as well.

(I don't know if I'll ever leave CurvedSpace, though. bluetongue.gif )
