I'm running Vista, and it's impossible to find a program that allows me to convert .wav files into .mp3. Until a few days ago, I used to be able to do it with Audacity, but now all that program does is create a 1 kb .mp3 file, which contains nothing. I've tried all sorts of different programs, but absolutely none of them worked. I really need some help on this, it's frustrating the hell out of me.

That one contained adware, I'm afraid.

Put it on a CD then rip on Windows Media Player to .mp3.

Yeah, I could do that if that was what I wanted to do, but, alas, it is not.

I'm starting to think there's something wrong with my computer, not with the programs... This one really ought to have worked, but everytime I hit the "convert" button, it says "ACN driver error"?
I really think it's weird, because Audacity used to work just fine, but now it doesn't work. It really seems like it's something to do with my computer.

Try updating your drivers I guess.

EditL you aren't the only onw with those problems with that program. It's not your computer. Try Bes' program.
