Ok guys, I need money and I have some spare computer parts that I have absolutely no use for. I don't know anyone in person who both wants one and can afford it, so I'm trying online. If noone here wants it, I'm trying one more place, and failing that I'll charge some poor local about $200 to have me come and install it. (Gotta love working on PCs)

I have a 7800GS (it's AGP) and no reason to keep it. I'll sell it for $100 USD. It's a pretty good card, far too damned expensive in retail (around $160 online, and probably $2500 at best buy), and fairly fast from what I understand.
It's a working card, afaik nothing is wrong with it. It has VGA, DVI, and what I believe is an S-video port out the back. System requirements say minimum 350W power supply, and the power connector is a standard, run of the mill, 4-pin molex connector.
If shipping kills it, just send it back to me and I'll wire you back your money. thumb.gif

Also, if your power supply can't handle it I have one right next to me that's a 500W ATX PSU from Arrow that I'll throw in for $20. It's got 8 molex connectors off of it... no SATA or PCI-e connectors on it either.

Shipping is like, $5 or something for US residents. USPS is cheap so I'm not going to bother charging you for it.
If any of you foreign devils want to have it shipped to you. You're going to pay for shipping, and you'll need to tell me how to get it to you since I've never dealt with international shipping... all I know is it's expensive, and I'll probably be taxed on it.

Edit: I'll post pictures tonight when I get home

Had no pix. I might be interested still, though...

I'll take some once my mom goes to sleep. I need to install her camera software on my computer and I don't want her knowing it's there. Because she'll want to use my computer.

Not that she can use it mind you. Windows is password locked on start up and screensaver... and the machine automatically boots up to Debian... which is also password locked on boot (I can leave it unlocked... she can't use linux).
But still, it's a fight I want to avoid since she'll probably get pissed and do something stupid... like breaking my computer.

So you get to wait.

Just because I'm lazy and don't want to compare it right now, what's the margin of difference between that and an ATI Radeon Sapphire X1650?

If you can find that information for me, I'd appreciate it.

Look at matching benchamarks for reference. My card seems to be nearly twice the sapphire's power.
