Appearance:

Neraphym has thin silvery hair and radiant purple eyes, which in darkness appear to glow. His vision is excellent at night, as is par for Ekuwyns. Among the most obvious of his Ekuwyn features are his large black wings. His skin is quite pale, but there are black patterns all over his body. He often fully conceals his skin, but the edges of these markings can be seen on his hands and even on his face. One might mistake these patterns for tattoos, but they have been with Neraphym since his birth. Also, Neraphym can project a powerful violet aura, which can be used to light up dark areas if needed.

Neraphym stands almost a full 6 feet tall, but due to his powerful arcanist abilities, he often levitates above the ground, making him appear even taller. He is very strong despite his thin build. Priding himself in his flexibility and speed, Neraphym can pull off very elaborate maneuvers at blinding speeds. However, his body is not built to endure the punishment most warriors can.

Neraphym is a descendant of one of the most powerful Ekuwyn lineages. The Archaeons are the keepers of a dark prophecy, which they intend to prevent. They are devout servants of Konadar The Unseen, but Neraphym is somewhat of a black sheep in this respect. While he follows Konadar, his faith is less adamant than that of his ancestors. Neraphym has his own ambitions and temptations.

Neraphym wields a powerful two-handed sword, the Umbraxis. The sword is made from an enchanted metal known as Annihilum. It is the fused power of light and darkness. Strong against both and weak to neither. At the core of the blade are two moonstones, a source of great power for both the Ekuwyn and anyone using Arcanist techniques. In Neraphym's hands, this becomes the ultimate spellcasting sword. Neraphym has placed a powerful enchantment on the blade which makes it as light as a feather. This allows him to synchronize the powerful weapon with his agile fighting style.

Neraphym covers himself in a set of armor made from the hides of black dragons. This armor is light in weight, but offers exceptional protection against both physical and arcane attacks. This offers Neraphym moderate protection without sacrificing his speed. There are many gaps in the protection of this armor, but Neraphym usually conceals himself in a large black cloak. The cloak does a good job of hiding his Ekuwyn features, allowing him to blend in as an ordinary elf when he needs to.


Personality:

Neraphym is exceptionally smart and analytical. He keeps to himself and avoids others, even of his own kind. He looks down on others as inferior, but he feigns politeness so as not to alienate anyone whom he might later need. He also sees no benefit to being outward with his feelings. Neraphym isn't really afraid of anything, but is deeply bothered by his inability to find purpose in his life. He has rejected his role as an Archaeon and is off to find his own path. He goes where the wind takes him, searching for something he may never find.


Ability:

The Archaeons are masters of a powerful Aivada-Ke arte form. Many of their techniques involve the use of arcana in addition to incredible physical discipline. Neraphym often enchants himself and his weapons to gain an edge in battle, and will synergize his powerful Aivada-Ke Artes with devastating Arcanist spells. Though he learned the Aivada-Ke Artes from his parents, he was sent to a sacred monastery in Aenoria to learn the ways of the Arcanist. Neraphym specializes in Cosmic spells, but is less skilled as a Chronomancer.


Past:

Neraphym was brought up in a secret castle somewhere in Faeronn. There he was raised by his clan to be the savior of the prophecy. Neraphym shunned this role, however. After learning all he needed to know from his family, he fled the castle to pursue his own ends in the strange world of Earthia. Before leaving he stole the family heirloom, the powerful sword Umbraxis.

Once in the world at large, he was left to fend for himself without the privileges he had growing up. Neraphym stayed away from societies at large, fearing how they'd react to a Ekuwyn. He kept to the wildernesses, occasionally venturing into the towns for supplies. He traveled the world at night, searching for a way to the stars. Eventually he came across Corroria in his travels. There, he met an odd pair of Aphorites, Dekzer and Varulla.

Neraphym joined up with the two Aphorites and together they formed a small band of outcasts known as DASE, the Dark Aphorite Star Empire. Their goal was to end the war between the Aphorites and Corroria and move the Aphorite people to a new home far away from the conflicts. While the war rages on, they have found their new home. Only a few refugees have made it there, however. Now DASE has returned to this part of the galaxy to put an end to the war by giving the Alliance a decisive victory.

Having seen the stars, Neraphym returns to Earthia seeking new adventure. He has returned to find the world in chaos, and seemingly every nation at war with each other. While these conflicts rage on, Neraphym is currently seeing many signs that the prophecy his clan keeps is about to come to pass. He nervously awaits the future and the role he may be forced to play in it.
