The unbalanced trade removal hurts no legit players AT ALL. You can still give gifts. How many people give party hats as presents on a daily basis? I would say none.

I am completely unaffected by the trade limits, in fact I find it refreshing people can't be scammed (I say "Can't", because you can not offer an item worth a million for 1gp), and find it refreshing people can't RWT like they did. In fact, it's really pointless to RWT at all. Let me give you an example here, I was in Lumbridge on a F2P server the other day in ghostly robes and a legends cape. Two people asked me what they were, and no one begged for them at all. I am combat level 99 F2P.

Sure you can not give all your items to someone when you quit, however when is there any reason to? Most people end up coming back, and those that don't tend to lose P2P before even offering their items to others (and those that do offer, tend to not give them away due to time restrictions, etc). I realize giving gifts is a good thing, however who really is effected by it? Who gives gifts higher then 30,000gp daily?

(For those who do not know, 30,000gp is the limit once you have more then 200QP - mind you it's only like 30,000gp per 20-30 minutes or something).

It makes "speed" fishing and mining very difficult. Also, it is dependent on the quest points--something that not all of us are fond of. It's riddled with uncertainty, I think. I'd rather not force myself to do 10+ quests more just to give my friend a gift for the sake of some moronic 12 year old who can't tell a straight deal from a crooked one.

Also, Jagex does not actively control the GE. They have a team devoted to fixing the prices, after players suggest it. Anyone, whether logged on or not, can check how prices change (whether up or down) from the website. This is for anyone, even those without an account.

I didn't know that. All the same, it is inflexible. True, it offers some better deals on items that were way overpriced to begin with--black items, for example, came down in cost considerable. However, it doesn't allow the flexibility that other games have put in their auction houses. True, no one can destroy the economy by placing everything at a "1 gp" purchase cost...but is it really worth it?

As far as the players, I do not get bothered most of the time. Sure, the forums are crazy from time to time but come on .. most forums are crazy. The game? It's great.

There are very few autoers, and those that do auto get banned fast (and, btw, they can't really make ANY profit considering how trading was limited).

What about overall players? Most people that play, whether over eighteen or not, play respectfully and with kindness. I very rarely find assholes.

Pssh. Silly P2P persons. ;P

The game is not perfect. Jagex is not perfect. Players are not perfect. But guess what? Nothing is perfect. I dare anyone to find "the perfect game". It doesn't exist. grnwink.gif

Bioshock.

Also, Jagex has released a lot of /NEW/ F2P things. EG: Fists of Guthix, Bounty Hunter, etc. Bounty Hunter is /exactly/ the same as the wilderness, except people can not steal kills. You are assigned a target, and yes you can be the target of more then one person. That just makes it more difficult, and I happen to like Bounty Hunter. Why? It's really more about skill then luck, you really can't run away as easily, and in fact it's more about Player Killing then the wilderness ever was.

Most people didn't give a flying {expletive ninja'd by Cspace} about player killing in the wilderness, since most people ran away. It's a lot harder in Bounty Hunter, but yes it is possible -- less likely, but possible. You also will not see a level 3 v.s. a level 100.

True, they did implement the Bounty Hunter feature fairly well. But a lot of players quit because there was no more challenge. Some people thrived in carrying around a whole bag of gear in the Wildy, killing and looting as things came and went. When that ended, so did their fun. I'm still going to have to say that RS2 was a failure in my eyes.

Any questions? Ask, or play.

EDIT: Please note it's a 30,000 difference, not 30,000 total, which means if I have a item worth 90,000gp you could give me 120,000gp or 60,000gp for it).

Bounty hunter ain't the same. How many times in edge did you see 4 people on 1 person, all of them in hides and ddses? It's not right.

Level 70s in P2P have to take on 112s, in F2P 56s have to take on 100s.

People running away? Anybody heard of asking for a deathmatch?

In other words a private server.

Get out unless you want a free IP ban.

Did someone say something about private servers?

Don't get me started on them.

Because I love them.

Jagex owns copyright, you playing on severs not owned/licensed by them is illegal. Read the DMCA. =\

I know for a fact that all RSC servers are downloads, most private server downloads are viruses.
