As many of you may know, a NASA probe named Phoenix recently landed on Mars in an attempt to dig down and find subsurface ice. Scientists reasonably expect to find some in this area, but they are also prepared to discover organic chemistry. After landing, the Phoenix took several pictures. Here they are:
