You guys may or may not know this but Windows XP SP3 has been released for awhile, however there is (and has been) talks of it being released in Automatic Updates. What do you think of this? Will it require a product key after being installed through Automatic Updates? Is the update to SP3 even worth it? Thoughts, opinions, facts, etc. TheSmile.gif

I won't patch unless new programs start requiring it. Did the same with SP2.

Moved over to Windows Vista Ultimate and must say its nice but used XP SP3. It's alright, I even tried the beta of XP SP3. It's not bad but eh, same old same old.

If you guy's really want to know a lot of the changes as they were quote unquote were, "under the hood." Nothing really was noticeable but maybe the start up time and overall just a slightly more responsive version. That is the only real noticeable difference. Stepping into vista is a whole other can of worms.
