General
Full Name: Vaerek Arandaed
Primary Classes: Scholar/Archaeologist
Secondary Classes: Gunfighter/Wizard
Tertiary Classes: Scion
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Alignment: Neutral Good
Leader: Aranel the Merciful

Appearance
Eye Colour: Blue
Hair Colour: Dark brown
Age: 27
Build: Strong, though lean
Skin Quality: Slightly tanned
General Appearance:
At an average height of 6'1", Vaerek has medium length hair and a strong build. He generally wears a cloak while traveling, but otherwise his clothes are well-made, though not as much as those of a noble -- perhaps more at the rank of a wealthy merchant. He uses a long bladed, double-edged sword, which he is able to enchant with the elements with his limited arcane abilities, and also has a dagger sheathed at his waist.

Personality
Influences: The histories of long dead cultures and nations.
Likes: Ruins, old things.
Strengths: Speaking foreign and dead languages, finding old things.
Weaknesses or Flaws:
General Personality:
Vaerek usually attempts to be understanding when encountering new people, though when he comes across intolerance, hastiness, or close mindedness, he can often become frustrated. He is generally slow to anger, and tries to solve conflicts peacefully if a peaceful solution seems at all possible. If he must, however, he has been trained to defend himself and those he considers friends.

Understandably so due to his profession, and perhaps as well attributed to his general open mindedness, Vaerek has a view of technology that few born and raised in lands considered primitive by Corroria share. While most shun it, considering technology itself to be inferior, or perhaps simply shunning it due to ignorance, Vaerek tries to learn as much about it as he can. This thirst for knowledge is reflected in his personality, as he is always trying to learn new things, whether the sphere of that knowledge be in the past or the future.

Background
General History:

“In the valley of hope, there is no winter.”
