You win at grammar if you can punctuate this sentence properly:

James while John had had had had had had had had had had had a better effect on the teacher.

Is this a legit grammar challenge or did you just over-exaggerate the word "had" in an insane sentence that you produced from the top of your head?

He didn't get it off the top of his head bluetongue.gif I guess you could call it a legit grammar challenge. I think it's kind of stupid, since they randomly decide that... err... well, some of the hads... can be suddenly considered unique articles. Just by using quotation marks. So they cheated, in my opinion bluetongue.gif But oh well. It's rather silly.

This is a legit challenge, but as Darkness points out, it's quite cheap with the use of quatations. As impressive as a sentence with 11 of the same word in a row, it pales in comparison to the great Buffalo sentences. If you pay careful attention to capitalization, you can make complete sentences by stringing any number of the word 'Buffalo' together.

Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo. <- Correct sentence.

Anywho, a few more days without an answer and I'll post it myself.
