I got a few confused messages about it, and I thought that I would explain its purpose a little better.

It's a place for members to write their own content for DarkStorm. It can be for events, but also for more general use. For example, you could write puzzles and other stuff that pertains to your own events. You could create a bestiary or list of your own important characters (beyond the ones you frequently play). You could write your own storyline, similar to the "epic" in the official codex. You could even use it to create a faction or leader.

You can do this without asking for permission. However, you should try to make your content exist within logical boundaries in the plot. Basically don't write things that happen in the future, and don't fill in too many blanks in the map or plot. This should keep your content relevant as time goes on.

DarkStorm is about a twisted world with many unnatural aspects about it. People appearing one day who weren't there earlier. Kingdoms, empires, and cities that vary greatly in technology and culture. Supernatural powers. Alternate planes of existence. All this gives you a lot of freedom to create stuff... So if you like being creative, why not give it a shot? thumb.gif
