Anyone give it a go yet? Armored Core was the first game I played for the original PlayStation, and I've always been eager to try each new release. My difficulty was that in previous versions, I could never get the controls down pat, so I got aggravated and stopped playing altogether, thereby missing out on Armored Core 4, and various others in the series.

Enter Armored Core: for Answer

Oh. My God. The controls are still a bit difficult for me to master, but it's getting easier. The best thing though, is that as with all AC games, I'm always pulled into the story. AC games are ones that make you feel like more than a player. It's like you're actually in the mech ( in b4 birds eye camera) and really piloting the thing.

I haven't tried online yet. I'm eager to, though. This feels very well like it will be more than a "rent it" game, and I plan on owning it very soon.

It's so individualistic, though. You can customize just about everything on the outward appearance of your AC (Which is what always drew me to the games), and even as the controls remain a tad bit sticky and slow, it seems to only add to the realism of being in a giant robot death killing maim-machine.

Try it. Please. 360, preferably. If you have, what do you think? I know a few of you out there really like Armored Core. Let's hear it.
