[Snowy]

A man, heavily armed and armored, was speaking to the King of Aderon in a low voice. He nodded quickly, leaving as fast as he could. He disappeared into the shadows of the throne room, only to reappear outside the castle walls. He headed for the nearest pub, his cloak concealing every part of his body.

[Darkness]

A dark cloaked man had been moving towards the metal portcullis of the castle, but as he saw the man seemingly materialize outside the castle walls, he began following him instead, into the tavern that he entered.

[Snowy]

The man entered the tavern, motioning at a barkeep to get him a pint of ale. He sat in the farthest corner of the tavern, away from the social butterflys that were making their rounds. He killed the ale in go, gave the bartender his money, and walked upstairs where their was an inn.

He entered his room, and was searching through his drawers, his back to the door.

[Darkness]

The dark cloaked man entered the tavern close to a minute after the other man entered it. He waited in a corner, watching the man from a corner of his hood. Though he too was clothed in such a way his face was hidden, he was somehow sure it was Nero. As he finished his drink and went upstairs, the dark cloaked man stood and followed him. He had lost sight of the man around a corner of the stairs, but as he got to the top of the stairwell, he assumed the door that was sitting open was his. Moving to the doorway, he saw the man with his back to him.

"Nero, I presume."

[Snowy]

The man turned around so quickly that it was almost as if he was standing towards the door the whole time. While he turned, he had drawn a throwing knife in one quick, fluid motion. It was now cocked and aimed at the stranger in the doorway. "Who are you?" He spoke quickly and ennunciated perfectly. There was no hint of an accent.

[Darkness]

"... I am Xaeris. The King of Frionia is interested in speaking with you."

[Snowy]

The man quickly sheathed his dagger and offerred a false smile to Xaeris. "Well well well. Is he now? Can you take me to him?"

[Darkness]

".. Come with me."

Assuming Nero followed him, the dark cloaked man left for Frionia.

[Snowy]

The man did follow him. Indeed.
