Are any of you familiar with Speeddemosarchive.com? It's a pretty cool site that hosts video game speedruns. For example, the original Super Mario Bros. done in 5 min, 5 sec. There are a bunch of games, even a few RPGs that have awesome times (Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in 4 hours, 43min.)

I suppose, but there's just as much planning in TAS then regular speedruns.

I remember watching an incredibly Castlevania speedrun on YouTube. I can't for the life of me remember which Castlevania game it was.
EDIT: That 16 star Mario 64 run is incredible. I was literally sitting and babbling like an idiot at some of the tricks and glitches used.

I should check out the GTA:SA out but it's 8GB ffs.

There are plenty of Resident Evil runs. I'm partial to RE4 in 2hr, 6min by Tim Bright. Crafty techniques.

Speedrun with glitches is fail, says I. Legit speedruns are much more impressive. Glitched are okay, I guess, but legit demand respect.

I guess that depends on the glitch. Believe it or not, some glitches are tough to pull off.
