Right, I need a new computer. I'm NOT putting up with Vista and I don't have enough money to install XP on a new computer. bluetongue.gif

So, ima get a Mac.

Not sure which one to get, my budget is as low as {expletive hax0rd by Cspace}, so, should I get:

Help me pick, mnubs.

I am guessing 400E is about 700$,
Anyways for that much money you can get yourself a really nice PC with a LCD display included.
If you get a Mac you will eventually have to buy XP if you wish to use all of a computer's features (video games, programs, ect).

Most stores such as Best Buy or Circuit City you can negotiate with you to get a sale. So you can tell them if you could get Windows XP on the computer or they can call where ever they bought the laptops or desktops in bulk and custom order a PC with windows XP instead of vista for you.
ROFL, if you cant handle Vista gl with the Mac ISP. Mac is really good if you would like to use one of there special programs (expensive video/pic editing ones).

I've got 3 PCs, two XP and one Vista atm. I'm sick of microsoft's crap.

Really don't want to waste my money.

And yes, I have used iMacs before using iMovie and stuff. It's pretty simple.

Get a copy of XP off the internet. That's what I did grnwink.gif
It's saved me about a grand so far. I'd upload it for you, but it'd take about 3 days.

Here's what you do.

Step 1a: Build a PC
If you can't do that
Step1b:Get a friend to do it for some cash.
If you're like me and your riends know nothing about computers
Step1c:Pay a "professional" to do it.

Step2: Recieve PC.

Step3: Put bootleg windows on it

Step4: Pat yourself on the back.

People hate it because their hardware can't handle it. If your hardware is good enough, Vista is awesome.

Exactly :s

Also, I don't want my PC to crash every 5 minutes like my past 2 PCs.

If your PC crashes every 5 HOURS then you need to lern2computer.

Getting a mac probably won't solve your fetish with keeping 27 programs open at once.

You know how I solved mine? I spent $40 or so dollars and got 2GB ram. thumb.gif

Thats not the PCs fault. It is yours becouse you must of done something to it such as fill it with spywear, not cleaning it...ect.
Go get a Mac if you want, just prepare to spend a lot more money.

I only have 3 programs open at once.

I have an up-to-date firewall + antivirus.

And anyway, I don't want my PC to be worth £5 two months later xD

So... you'd rather your mac be worth £5 two months later? Mac and PC hardware is basically the same. Except buying an apple PC costs much more. Just get a regular PC put OS10 or whatever the newest one is on it. And enjoy buying a new OS and software every upgrade.

Besides, my computer is old tech(2 years or so), and I like it. It's a few hundred USD, and can play most games at 1440x900.
If I had a mac worth a few hundred I could play... solitaire or something.
