Oh yeah, I have ram that doesn't brake under the pressure of 100mb Firefox load.

Hmm... How long had you been browsing for, though? I haven't tried to measure quantitatively how much less (if any) FF3 was leaking over time, I'd just heard it was something they were improving for the update. Does seem a little better to me, all in all.

I have no idea.

This instance has been open for about 20 hours... and it's using 270MB.
