It looks like a fantastic game. I loved gears of war 1, it was the first game i got for the Xbox360. Some of the best graphics, game design, interface, and cinematics I have ever seen in a video game.
Once my Xbox comes back from repair fri/sat I will deffinatly have to get this game.

Paying off the last 10 dollars on my preorder today. I will be first in line at the release party Friday. As always.
Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see.

Hi guys. Guess what I was first in line for and now own.
Yes. Gears 2. Granted the release was rather... boring, it was still a fantastic time had by all.
I'm FAR too exhausted from being at GameStop from 11:30 to midnight. I'll play it tomorrow.
But oh my God it's gorgeous so far.

So like, there was this massive tournament last night at work. They wouldn't let me play in the official, but I held my own and ran roughly 5th place out of 30 people. 'Twas fun. Amazing how the developers and marketers plan to release every {expletive ninja'd by Cspace}ing title on a day when it rains here. Halo 3, Brawl, Fallout 3, Gears 2. It never fails.
I still haven't played through due to an almost emergency-room-trip inducing lack of sleep, but I take a hardcore power nap later and will then give it a run for its money.
Lancer duels. Woeh.

this freakin sucks
I got GoW2 and my dad picked up my xbox 360 from repair. I plug in my Xbox and everything worked fine. Then suddenly it froze and the screen got all mis colored. Then I restart it and I can hear everything fine but there is no picture in my TV screen. Talk about gay. I am so sick of how {expletive hax0rd by Cspace}ty my Xbox and my luck have been. The guy who fixed my Dvd problem is {expletive Chuck Norris'd by Cspace}ing with me and thinks I have 2 broken xbox 360s and am trying to scam him.

I had that same problem a while back. Turned out to be my AV plugs. See if you can borrow a friends AV plugs and check if those will work. If not, call in and raise some hell.

He is going to check it out today and call me back tomorrow. I hope everything works out.

Hi. Gears 2 is beautiful. I haven't seen anything this aesthetically appealing in a LONG time.
But. There's a better side to it. Horde.
Oh my God. Horde on singleplayer is fun enough in itself, but get online with four other people that know what the hell they're doing, and WOW. Highest ranking I've made it to was 29, because one dude was an idiot. But it's amazing and fun. Not competitive on who kills who, it's 5 player co-op basically.
Also, if you make a local multiplayer game with 4 people, you can implement Bots to the game to add players. And even at the casual difficulty, bots can still be quite a pain in the {expletive antidisestablishmentarianized by Cspace}.
I've played Left 4 Dead, I've made my judgment on it thus far. Gears now has my primary focus online, as it will probably hold for a very... VERY long time.
I dare say it... Gears 2 earns a 10/10. From my personal experiences.
Just wow.
