This is awesome. I'm going to get one as soon as they start selling again.

How did this system come to be?
The Pandora is a unique machine. It was designed based on the input of thousands of forum users with one goal in mind - to make the ultimate open source handheld device.

And they're selling it for $330. Doesn't that violate the open source agreement or something?
Though I guess some distros are being charged for these days, such as Redhat Enterprise, which I also believe is wrong.
I guess it probably only applies to the software, which they'll claim they're not charging for, rather the device itself.

It's a handheld that they're designing, manufacturing, and selling that happens to run off of completely open source software.
Is this difficult to understand?
Is ASUS supposed to give out their linux running eee PCs for free now?
Edit: Handheld is a bad name for it. It's basically a tiny computer that runs linux.

Translation: They're charging for the computer itself and not the Operating System.

I'd hope not, 'cos then I'd feel ripped off for being charged for my Eee. Don't get me wrong - I love my Eee to bits, glorious gadget that it is. I'm just....You know what, never mind. I suck at making jokes.

Feed the plushie!
(Rayquaza plushie? WTF? It doesn't look anything like the other plushies!)
Through our bleeding we are one.
