Flip Video

Okay, any opinions on the flip video cameras?
I am currently looking at:
http://www.walmart.c...duct_id=7779741
I would like to find a camcorder (or, if the video taking was good enough, digital camera). I would say at the most $90.00 - nonetheless feel free to throw suggestions around.
One issue I see with the one I listed is its AA batteries so they might be a fun time recharging/replacing them as time goes on.
The other issue is that you can't increase memory with a SD/SDHC card. Hm.
In any case, I like the features listed on the page above.
Thanks for any help,
Jeff.

I actually have a camera nearly identical to that. What's fun about it for me is that it's so completely portable, affordable, and records video that's passable (especially if it's destined for youtube or the like).
The batteries will add up, I'd recommend just picking up some rechargeable ones.
The memory, though, is probably the biggest issue. You won't be able to shoot full length feature films with it, but you should be ok so long as you dump the video off of it when you're done recording for the day.
Hope that helped!

Indiana University's Library. They're for rent by students, not for sale .

We've got all kinds of stuff for rent. Camcorders, iPod Touches, Digital Voice Recorders, and tape recorders.
Interesting concept - although I guess it comes in handy since I'm sure the students can use them.

Indeed. I tested one out today. They're easily portable, have good video quality, and are simple, yet cool.
Sweet. I'm considering buying a Mino, eventually.
