Star Wars: The Old Republic Finally!

Well apparently either nobody said anything or we missed the announcement altogether, but about two weeks after LucasArts released The Force Unleashed in October, BioWare and LucasArts announced Star Wars: The Old Republic.

So it became official: BioWare wasn't making kotor 3 but a new ambitious MMORPG to compete with WoW.

On a personal note, I'm giddy as a schoolgirl. BioWare is the best. Best best best.

I am a little curious as to what this will do to SWG (or what's left of it).

It will divide SWG. Old players will stick to it, claiming nothing can best their preferences, while other players move on and try to convince the older players to join them but to no avail.

Indeed, I am excited about this. Though while I'm not the biggerest Star Wars fan, I'll most definitely look into it when it shows up.
I can just picture the WoW competition.
"LFG RAID ON DEATH STAR PST"

It'll be neat to see WoW be sent on a run for its money.

Edit: A LONG AS GEORGE LUCAS STAYS THE {expletive ninja'd by Cspace} AWAY FROM ITS PRODUCTION.

I think people have issues with midichlorians because Lucas decided to try and make scientific sense out of The Force, and it turned out, well, stupid and illogical.

Am I on the right track Res?

Oh, and star wars died for me when george squeezed blood from this rock. The only good thing that came out of the continuation was SpikeTV's poster promo which said, "You would be screwed up too if you were called 'Annie' for your entire childhood."
