I've decided to move this back out of the DA, since I replied and Wyvern (and others) can't reply to my reply and I think whether or not the original poster is a bot would make an interesting discussion. grnwink.gif

Discuss? :o

Sooo..are they bots, people, or something else entirely?

Well there's the human-verification image and the fact that it was only posted once. It also seems odd that many different posters that post illegitimate links end up posting in the right categories. I forget which forum this was originally posted in.

GD, if I remember correctly.

Yes, but there a lot of other bots floating around here which got past the verification image. And it only really NEEDS to be posted once.

The issue here is why would someone make a bot just to post about gold-sharing sites? Or why would someone purposely hire someone to use their bot, etc. What makes me so sure is that it seems highly illogical and highly improbable that it is indeed a bot, it seems to me that it is far more likely that it is, in fact, a person. grnwink.gif

A person hired, most likely, by someone paying very little bits of money.

It just seems that the "bots" people claim are posting are really just people.

It's easier to use a bot because they can post it on forums quicker, and it saves a lot of time for said person.

Plus, they don't have to get paid.

Or maybe it could be the fabrics of the universe itself.

Or God.

Or just some website owner.
