So like yeah. I know we have Archives and whatever, and those are cool. They really are. but they're old and nobody really goes there, 'cept me when I'm really bored.

AWESOME Archives.
For real.

Another set of archives that are separated from the HUEG LIST BELOW and MEANT to be viewed.
The AWESOME Archives would be modded by select mods or whoever. A "Staff" if you will.

Any thread that is considered awesome enough to be added to the archives, members must PM that thread code to an Archive staff member. If the thread gets enough attention, it goes to the Archive where its beauty and glory and hilarity will remain in the public eye for... well, until another thread shows up to mask it.

Awesome Archive (Name is under speculation to be altered.)
NO new topics can be made.
NO replies can be made.
Threads can ONLY be moved into the archive, and if possible, cannot be moved out.
Any thread that gets over 5 suggestions from separate people can be automatically archived.
Threads that contain EPIC material from all boards, be it member only or moderator only (Warzone/general mod chat) may be archived.
Some threads may be recreated and split to only contain EPIC posts.

Agreements?

Implementation?

Also, the members of the forum can sift through older posts among the boards to find topics to suggest.

All the archive staff members in my opinion, because of the following:

Sending it to all makes the word get around faster.

Threads that contain EPIC material from all boards, be it member only or moderator only (Warzone/general mod chat) may be archived.

Disagree. Moderator forum posts are just that, there are many topics there that should not be moved out. Also, the DA is obviously a place where topics should stay.

Some threads may be recreated and split to only contain EPIC posts.

Doing this would take away from the entirety of the thread. Keep the threads together, or don't recommend at all.

If Res would like, he can decide on the team to handle it. I'm not sure that the forum itself needs mods, though, as any mod with the ability to move threads is capable of sending topics there.

Just be sure that a thread is already dead before archiving it.
